How free guest runs work, what Live data skills mean, and how mock vs live LLM responses are labeled.

How free trial works
Anyone can run skills without connecting a wallet. Guest runs are rate-limited so the desk stays usable and abuse stays bounded.

SOL pay-per-run is a prototype on one skill
Only Rug Risk Scanner enforces an optional SOL transfer after free quota. Builder fee splits, $SKRN charges, and staking rewards are still not live. If treasury is not configured, the paid path stays off and free trial works as before.
- 1Open a Live data skill (or use the homepage mint scanner).
- 2Paste a mint, wallet, or other input — no wallet connect required.
- 3Run free trial and wait for tools + model (or a labeled mock fallback).
- 4Open the public receipt link and share if useful.
What Live data means
A skill is marked Live data when it is tagged with tools. Those skills are allowed to call server-side Solana and market tools (RPC mint/wallet reads, DexScreener, optional web search) during execution.
- Live data ≠ guaranteed accurate. Tools depend on RPC, public APIs, and rate limits.
- Live data ≠ live LLM. You can have tool-capable skills that still fall back to a mock if LLM keys fail.
- Prompt-only skills have no tools tag — pure LLM/copy skills (e.g. thread packs, IDL docs).
- Marketplace Featured desk and the Live data only filter surface tools-tagged skills first.

Mock vs live (unmistakable)
When a configured LLM provider cannot run, SolKernal returns a clearly labeled mock response so demos never fail silently. Mock is never presented as a successful live desk brief.
- Mock banners use warning color and the word Mock on skill detail, mint scanner, and receipts.
- Live runs show a Live LLM status (and Live data tools when applicable).
- Receipt status mock is stored on the execution row for public audit of the run type.
- Never trade or ape based on mock output.
